Ok I don't have the time to post all this now, but putting this up for me to complete and edit later. Also certain rule answers on the main board recently would've really changed the complexion of this battle, so it feels kind of odd to batrep it now.

That's a 4000 point Lyonnesse army??? Shocked

That looks huge ... at least 6000 points if I were to guess. I'm guessing the Lyonnesse player took a lot of the cheaper troop types or perhaps didn't field a lot of characters or monsters?

Come on ...where's the rest of the story?!?!

I wanna know how the barons did ... and how you squeezed that many models into 4000 points.

Pardon my ignorance ... but what does hitting paydirt mean? Did he win the lottery or something?

LOL! I was wondering how on earth my single picture had generated 8 replies... I was wtf

Ah you gossip mongers, all of you. Geez.

Anyway. I have actually got more pics to add... and as I can do that quickly.. I may as well do it now. I will add commentary later, but as there is a LOT of photos you should get a really good idea what is going on.

BTW the Orcs are "Hobgoblins" for this battle. Goblins are actual Goblins. Each Hobgoblin unit has a Hobgoblin hero.. and we didn't even play the Fearsome rules correctly (see old thread regarding that). If we had, the Baron's front line would've likely have been decimated almost immediately rather than some parts holding for a while.
