Awesome ... with the new vehicle rules, you don't have to worry about drive values so you can have a war wagon pulled by a couple of horses, as in those sample models. I'd love to see a few of those festooned with crossbowmen or something.
How long did this army take to paint? _________________ Thanks, Raj Dhillon |

Well it took not that long, as I used the Shades from Fanatic Army Painter, so I needed about 20min. for a single miniature. |

Hi Lameth,
I have to say your Lyonnesse army is truely stunning,
can we use the photos on the AoA website in the section for the lyonnesse army please.
What we are planning is that each race will almost be a community in its own right when you can see several different armies from diferent players. with details of where the figures come from, if thats ok. You can also add a little write up on how you put the army together. |

If you have time, Lameth ... I'd to read a bit more about how you painted the army. When you paint up your next batch of minis, could you take a few work-in-progress shots and then later write up a brief article on how you did each step? I didn't realize such decent effects could be achieved with the army painter/wood stain stuff. _________________ Thanks, Raj Dhillon |

That army is simply amazing! Perry minis are really something, but those Kingmaker figs fit is fantastically too! Overall, awesome job!

Hey Shin,
Speaking of Lyonnesse pictures ... you've got a great army as well. Could you PM DESC your pics for the new site as well? _________________ Thanks, Raj Dhillon |

Well, the trick with the armypainter ist to choose the right colors and of course to work on some parts of the miniature after dipping.
1)I allways base coat the miniature in white or gray,
2) paint it in bright base clors,
3) dip it into the shade
4) shake the shade off
5) with a little (donīt know if it is the right word) sponge I take superfluous shade off.
6) paint some parts of the miniature again
I hope you understand what Iīm trying to say
@Shinryu
Show me yours
I will present the Marr project in a german forum and will post here a link. |

One more question, how did you do the pictures on the shields? Are they free hand or some kind of sticker/transfer? _________________ Thanks, Raj Dhillon |
